Mom Extraordinaire

I am a stay at home mom to my 3 boys, and my kitty, and I've been happily married for 12 years. I was diagnosed and have been living with Transverse Myelitis and chronic pain for the past 18 years. I found kratom in 2019 to help me manage my chronic pain. It saved my life! I want to share my story with others and let them know that there's hope! I also try to educate and advocate for this amazing plant.

Addiction Survivor

I’m known as the bright colored hair, stiletto nails wearing Kratom advocate with no filter. I never really fit in the boxes that society labels people so my recovery story and survival from active addiction is no different. I survived the overprescribing opioid epidemic. I was trapped in active addiction from 2008-2019 via pain management doctors. I accidentally found Kratom in June 2019 after being fired from pain management in April 2019. After being fired, I went to the streets and started doing cocaine. During my cocaine withdrawals, I watched that documentary “A Leaf of Faith.” Now today, I’m a loud and proud Kratom advocate and consumer. My passion in life is to save other lives and dispel the Kratom misinformation surrounding this magical plant. Kratom can and will save your life whether you’re looking for recovery from substance use disorder, looking for chronic pain management alternatives or if you’re just done with the revolving door of Big Pharma. Don’t google Kratom…ASK AN ADVOCATE!

Venus Usher Profile Photo

Venus Usher

Kratom tea advocate

My name is Venus, I'm 57 and live in New Castle, DE.
I became ill in 2000 with endometriosis and the treatment gave me kidney stones. That started a horrific journey through the medical system, just trying to prove I was sick, that my pain was real.
I spent 17 years searching for help and answers, hoping each new dr would make it stop, give me some answers and treatments that I'd be able to move on, be productive again. I tried every pharma med, I didn't care what it was or where it came from. I didn't even care if I died. At least the pain would end. I has given up.
Then by accident I found kratom tea. A video auto played after my meditation, it was about kratom tea!
Like most of us I thought it couldn't work as well as they said. I was so wrong and happy to admit it!
That's when my healing journey started. I no longer had to fear the pain drs would cause me. I knew that just by drinking a tea, I'd have more relief than pharma ever gave me.
I thought I was alone I'm my suffering, but I was so wrong. Now I spend my time finding others where I was, on the brink. I tell them about this wonderful tea and it's amazing to watch them grow and flourish like I have and still am.
Kratom tea alone is life saving, but it continues to give through the community. We continue to save lives and I just love that!
I'm looking forward to what the future has to offer, before kratom I was just waiting to die. I'm so glad I survived in spite of the medical and pharma professions.
