Born in Houma, Louisiana. 43 years old. About to turn 44. Taurus/Monkey. BA in Family Sociology and Ethnic Studies and MA in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. Started my professional career as a Child Protective Services Case Manager. Did 10 years of Human Resources for Hewlett Packard, Life Technologies, and TD Ameritrade. Been an entrepreneur for the last 10 years or so. Ran a mobile accessories company called Utomic. Now I am a co-founder and CEO of ETHA Natural Botanicals as well as other companies in the natural medicine space. Married my high school sweetheart. 2 boys - 13 and 3 years old. Another boy on the way. Live in San Diego, CA. I'm a car enthusiast, love mixed martial arts (MMA), video games, and studying ancient history. My favorite thing is traveling with my family on new adventures. I learned about kratom from listening to a Joe Rogan podcast with Chris Bell maybe 8 years ago. Been using kratom ever since. At first kratom was helping me to manage chronic hip, knee, and shoulder pain from injuries obtained during my mma years. Since recovering through stem cell treatments, physical therapy, and better self-care, I now use kratom to improve my workouts, boost my energy and mood, and sometimes to help me sleep at night. Alexander and I started ETHA because we saw major deficiencies in the kratom industry. Poor lab testing, no understanding of the plant, product inconsistency, and a general lack of professionalism. Too many companies out to make a quick buck on kratom. Our focus at ETHA is to make products people can trust while also devoting our time to improving the industry and advocating for kratom.
